Despite our success in defeating Trump and holding the Senate, we have to act urgently to save our democracy and enact other desperately needed reforms. Getting it done depends on all of us.

Since 2017, Indivisible Evanston has cultivated a grassroots movement in our community that supports bold, progressive policies. We helped flip the House in 2018, and we were part of a national citizen-led effort that resulted in our victory in November 2020. Our efforts in 2022 helped prevent the predicted red tsunami and helped maintain a Democratic Supreme Court majority in the Illinois Supreme Court. 

The Fight for our democracy and rights is far from over. Our current goal is to inform, encourage and organize area citizens about critical progressive issues, to resist regressive policies, and to promote progressive politics.
