A Crucial Battleground for Democrats
WisDems are well-organized and provide a variety of opportunities for us to help shift their state’s politics from red to blue. From voter protection to voter registration to canvassing opportunities, we can make a huge impact by supporting our neighbor to the north.
What's at Stake?
The fall election is crucial because Governor Evers is not seeking reelection, so the governor's office and both houses of state legislature are up for grabs. Wisconsin's primary is August 11.

SWING LEFT: A NEW KIND OF CANVASSING (fill out form here)
Swing Left volunteers are knocking on doors and making phone calls—months earlier than traditional campaign outreach—as we work to listen to voters across the political spectrum.
It’s an innovative new strategy we’re calling Ground Truth, based on the idea that winning starts with listening.
After 2024, we took a hard look at what isn’t working in Democratic voter outreach: campaigns start late, focus on narrow lists that miss the voters who could make the difference in tight races, and rely on scripted conversations that feel far too transactional. Meanwhile, voters feel like the system is broken, and that no one is really listening.
The results we’re seeing so far are incredibly promising, with two-thirds of the people who open the door talking to us for at least 10 minutes, and even 1 in 4 Republicans showing openness to Democrats or explicit concern about Trump.
